Privacy
Kambit is a karaoke party product that is not released yet. This page explains what we do with the information you give us on kambit.live.

What we collect
- The email address you type into the waiting list form.
- A record of your consent: which version of the wording next to the form you saw, the time you joined, and which form you used.
- Ordinary technical details that our hosting provider records when you visit any website, such as your IP address and browser type. We use these only to keep the site secure and working.
This site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and our emails do not contain tracking pixels.
Why we collect it
- To send you a confirmation email when you join.
- To tell you when Kambit opens.
- To send you occasional early-access offers.
- To understand how many people on the list later create a Kambit account. We do this by comparing the list with our own account records, not by tracking you.
We do this because you asked us to by joining the list, after the wording next to the form told you so. You can change your mind at any time.
Who handles it for us
- Resend stores the waiting list and sends our emails.
- Vercel hosts this website.
- Cloudflare provides our domain and receives mail sent to our support address.
These providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. We do not sell your email address and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
For up to 24 months after you join, and then we delete it. If you sign up for a Kambit account, that account has its own terms. You can have your address removed sooner at any time, as described below.
Your choices
Every email we send includes a link to unsubscribe and delete your email address. It takes one click and one confirmation, and it removes your address from our waiting list. Our email provider may keep records of messages it has already delivered for a limited time.
You can also write to support@kambit.live to see, correct or delete your information. If you are in New Zealand, you have these rights under the Privacy Act 2020 and can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Age
The waiting list is for people aged 13 and over.
Changes
If we change this page, the date above will change too.
